Question: I plug the steamer in to the outlet but nothing happens? There seems to be no power.

Answer: The steamer has a safety plug , when connecting the power cord to the steamer for the first time make sure the plug is pushed all the way. First it will stop and when pushed firmly the plug will go an extra half inch in to the steamer. If connected correctly it will make clicking sounds immediately there is no need to wait. (This will happen only in the first use).

Question: I plug the steamer in to the outlet it gets a little hot but no steam is coming out, what should I do?

Answer: The steam pressure is controlled by the amount of salt used, using more salt will cause a higher steam pressure –if not using salt at all the steamer won't provide any steam. There for it is very important to use the correct amount of salt.

If there is no steam coming out but you can feel the steamer getting hot go thru these steps:

1: unplug the power cord from the steamer.
2: empty the steamer from water.
3: (in the us) take the larger plastic spoon and put 3 scoops of salt in to the water container .
4: fill up water in the container up to the line and poor it in to the steamer.
5: close the steam let it stand point up and plug the power cord back in.

The steam should now start clicking , this means it is working now.

Question: It is steaming just fine but there is hot water leaking from the inner part of the handle.

Answer: In the inner upper part of the handle you can find an orange o-ring . If it is not sitting write in place or missing ,the steamer can not be used.

Question: Should I have to constantly refill? The steam stops too fast and I need to refill water all the time.

Answer: If you feel that the steam stops to quick there a few steps you can take.

1: every time you are not steaming place the steamer on it's side and it will stop steaming immediately. Putt it point up and it's starts steaming in a second.

2: in the next use try to putt less salt (one scoop less), if the steamer is working fine keep on using that amount of salt in the next time.
